I'm feeling really pleased with myself as I have completed this assignment well within the suggested time limit of mid-May. The other good point is how much I've enjoyed this part of the module. I've always enjoyed digital imaging having used Photoshop since edition 7, so to find a whole section dedicated to the subject was a real joy. I went with the magazine front cover rather than the book cover as I had too many problems to put the book illustration together. Perhaps I'll have another go if there is a similar project in the advanced DPP module in Level 2.

I've now only got section 5 to complete this module. I've got the go ahead from my tutor to carry on with my suggestion of reproducing some of the images of Lyme Regis (where I live) as digital art, which pleases me no end.
Just got to get the assignment 4 CD in the post to Norman and off I go with section 5.
Given myself a new challenge as I have just bought a fairly new iMac and got it up and running. I used to have a Mac G4 system some years ago but decided to concentrate on PCs as that was what I taught to the local older generation where I lived before. Now that I can please myself, I've gone back to the iMac and am working my way round all the different ways of working but enjoying every minute. I can't wait to get up in the morning and switch it on. The beauty of a mac is the instant response, no long wait for the machine to struggle its way to the start point. Great!
